Jana Flašková is an assistent professor of mathematics at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen.

Her research interests are in set theory and set-theoretic topology. Past work has involved ultrafilters on the natural numbers and cardinal chaacteristics of certain ideals.
She is currently working in combinatorial set theory.

She received her Ph.D. in 2006 from the Charles University in Prague, under the supervision of Petr Simon. She obtained a postdoctoral fellowship at Institut Mittag-Leffler to participate in the institute’s scientific program Mathematical logic: set theory and model theory and she participated in the Thematic Program on Forcing and its Applications at the Fields Institute.
