Dima Sinapova: The extent of square in models of not SCH

Set Theory Seminar (HUJI)
We shall meet this Friday (November 15th) in the Hebrew University math department building, at 10 am.Speaker: Dima Sinapova (UIC)

Title: The extent of square in models of not SCH.

Abstract: We investigate the relationship between square properties and the failure of the Singular Cardinal Hypothesis (SCH). We will focus on models where SCH fails at $\aleph_\omega$ and models when SCH fails at $\kappa$ while GCH holds below $\kappa$. We will also talk about very good scales and how they interact with both square properties and SCH.

See you there!
