Title: An infinitary version of the Furstenberg-Weiss Theorem
Abstract: In 2003 H. Furstenberg and B. Weiss obtained a far reaching extension of the famous Szemeredi’s theorem on arithmetic progressions. They establish the existence of finite strong subtrees of arbitrary height, having an arithmetic progression as a level set, inside subsets of positive measure of a homogeneous tree. In this talk an infinitary version of their result will be presented.
