Prague Forcing Seminar, Tue 17.5.: Continuum function and large cardinals (Radek Honzik)

Dear all,

we will meet again tomorrow at 13:30 at the Mathematical Institute, Zitna 25.

will give a talk on the following topic:

I will show how to obtain some non-trivial behaviour of the continuum function with a measurable cardinal from the optimal hypothesis of o(kappa) = kappa^++. Knowledge of large cardinals is in fact not required; the argument will be a combinatorial one involving construction of certain generic filters

Have a nice day,

Jonathan Verner
