Born 12 November 1970. Michael Hrusak is a mathematician working at Centro de Ciencias matematicas, Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico.
His research concerns primarily set theory of the reals and its applications to topology.

He received his Ph.D. in 1999 from York University, Toronto under the supervision of Juris Steprans.
