Wieslaw Kubis is currently a researcher at the Institute of Mathematics, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. He is also connected to Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce, Poland, where he occasionally gives undergraduate courses and leads a research group, including 3 PhD students under his supervision.
His main research interests are applications of set theory and logic in various areas of mathematics, especially functional analysis and topology.
One of his main current research projects deals with universal homogeneous structures, from the categorytheoretic point of view.
